Hello!! Welcome to the world of Indian traditional folk art of Maharashtra called as 'Warli Art'. Warli art is a such great art expresses day to day life of tribal people through line and basic shapes. During my studies of Animation I have made dissertation on 'Dynamic and Expressive quality of line and its role in Animation'.

A line is a basic element, which plays an important part in various fields. Line is a series of dots, the fundamental versatile communicative medium that comes into life in cave art, also found in Norman McClaren’s film ‘Dot’, and can be noticed in warli painting.

Thus it is a common element has been symbolized according to various artists and interpreted in their own way. It is a very abstract medium and very challengeable to artist as well as to audience. But this is also a simplest medium to convey the message to audience.........
